Portability in the HCV Program refers to the process through which a family can transfer, or port, their voucher to another housing agency.  This session will review the ins and outs of portability; when a voucher holder can request portability; identifying responsibilities for the “initial” and “receiving” housing agencies; as well as identifying methods and best practices for streamlining Portability processes and procedures.
